Graeme Stark, United Kingdom

I work mostly with traditional film and papers, recently using digital capture in order to show my work conveniently.
Every moment we capture is stopped; frozen, unrepeatable, unique, that's the alchemy. I like to explore the ancient, everything is transient, except the frozen moment.

Visitors Comments:

Sorry, very boring images, boring compositions. Try other, unconvential viewpoints, photograph in color with more contrast! Try HDR!

im a sucker for overexposure and contrast. i think a bit of fiddling in photoshop would have made these stand out more. then again, proper photographers propably dont consider shopped pics as true works of art.

Well, in the 'early days' we fiddled in the darkroom to get more contrast etcetera, no difference there! I see some darkroom fiddling in the last 6 pictures (dark sky)..? I think they are better than the other ones.
You can take pictures in a traditional way and still surprise people, just by changing you viewpoint and composition, that's not very extreme..

Thanks for taking time to comment. I'm still fiddling in the darkroom, but the later pictures are fiddled in software, you're right.
